The CPA organizes numerous poker tournaments throughout the island for both professional and amateur players. Tournaments provide an opportunity to enjoy the game in a sports format, safe, supervised by qualified judges and coaches.
The CPA encourages, assists and lends support to poker players and poker clubs across the island. The CPA aims to enhance both the national and international status and appeal of the game as a skilled minded sport and to provide a variety of related information, ranging from tournaments information to new legalisation pertaining to poker.
The CPA is committed to professionalism in all poker tournaments nationwide and establishing certain standards to serve as a recommended model for all tournaments and poker clubs to follow. The CPA maintains relationships with media and charitable organisations, provides information to members and takes a stance in governmental affairs that may impact poker in Cyprus, and continue to further the integrity, longevity and success of poker in Cyprus.
CPA Poker Tournament
The first official Poker tournament of the Cyprus Poker Association will take place in Champs Elysees Poker Club, Nicosia on the 4th - 5th June 2011. Doors open for this event at 13.00 hrs. Click here for directions.

The Cyprus Poker Association will supply Fully Licensed and certificated Dealers and Supervisors for each Championship Match. All Dealers and Supervisors will have passed examinations held by the Cyprus Poker Association in collaboration with the International Poker Federation (IFP). |
